Response Area

The Centertown Fire Department has one of the largest areas of responsibility in Warren County, Tennessee. Covering an area in excess of 71 square miles, our jurisdiction includes the City of Centertown, Tennessee, and surrounding unincorporated areas. Our response area extends along Highway 70 from the Warren/Cannon County line to the city limits of McMinnville, and extends laterally from Yager & Short Mountain Roads to the Barren Fork River, which form the boundaries of our coverage area.

Our area includes areas like Newtown, the Crisp Springs & Blues Hill communities, and the Shangri La/Ben La area. We are responsible for providing coverage for the Warren County Memorial Airport, the Centertown Elementary School, various businesses, and considerable portions of Highways 70 & 55.

Additionally, through mutual aid agreements, the Centertown Fire Department is second-due to structural fires in neighboring districts, virtually doubling our response area. As such, the Centertown Fire Department is second-due to the county's industrial park, home to some of the region's largest employers.
