Founded in 1973, the Centertown Fire Department is charged with protecting the property & citizenry of Centertown, Tennessee, and surrounding areas of rural & suburban Warren County, Tennessee. Providing fire suppression, emergency medical first response, and rescue support, our team of unpaid professionals respond to over 400 calls each year.

Funding

The Centertown Fire Department is supported solely by donations and annual payments by our residents and property owners. The Department receives no direct tax monies and causes no tax burden to our citizens. As such, we ask that each year property owners make an annual payment of $35 per residence or parcel of property before August 1st.

Coverage Area

The Centertown Fire Department is responsible for approximately 72 square miles of Warren County, Tennessee. Our area includes the City of Centertown, as well as a significant portion of unincorporated Warren County.
